If creating your budget is a task you have been putting off, then the time to take action is now!

You can make a budget that works for you and it doesn’t have to be painful.

I promise, that once you get going with budgeting, it really DOES get easier. 

And to help make the process more fun, and less painful, we created this easy budget planner to help you get started.

Let’s go over how to make the most of this planner so you can start creating your own budget!

First, make sure to download and print the planner. You can download it here.

Once you have it printed out, and it time to start filling in the pieces.

Enter in your income sources and the amount you get from each of them.

Then add up all your income and enter that number into the total income box.

This is the amount of money you have to work with for your budget.

The next step is to enter in all your bills or fixed expenses.

These are your monthly expenses that you pay every month, on the same day and for about the same amount.

Think Rent, Utilities, phones, insurance, etc.

Enter the expense and the amount that you pay each month.

Once you have them all added in, add them all up and put the total in the bills total box.

Next up is your monthly spending or expenses.

These are the things you pay for each month, but the amount changes and fluctuates.

Think about spending on groceries, gas for the car, personal spending money, etc.

Enter all of the additional things you spend money on each month and enter them into the expenses section. 

Then add up all the expenses and put that total in the expenses total box.

The last section is the savings and debt section.

Enter in your savings goals and the amount you want to save for each goal.

Also enter in any debt payments you have.

Once those are entered, add up the total for the savings and detn and put the total in the savings total box.

The final piece of creating your budget is to compare your budget plan with your actual income.

So take your income total ad subtract the totals of your bills, expenses and savings/debt.

Put this number in the Income-Expenses box.

There you have it! You have created your budget!

Now you can use it to better plan your finances and goals.

And you can keep track of your budget by putting the actual amounts of your bills and spending into the actual column when bills are paid.
