The weather is finally starting to cool down where we are and there are so many fun fall activities to be part of.
And October is also a great time to work on saving some extra money, whether that be for the coming holidays or to reach some financial goals.
That is why we made these October Savings Challenge printables.

We created two versions of the October savings challenge–one that is already filled in with defined saving goals and a blank version.
The already filled in savings challenge is pretty simple.
Each day, you pick one of the pumpkins on the chart and save that amount of money.
Then you can color in the pumpkin that you selected, so you know not to do that one again.
Once you have filled in all of the pumpkins, you will have saved $300. Not bad for some extra savings for the month.
The blank option is the same idea, except you get to choose your savings goal.
So let’s say you want to save $400 for the month of October.
You could take $400 divided by 31 (31 days in October).
Each pumpkin is then worth $12.90. You can round up to $13.
So each do you would need to plan to save $13, and fill in a pumpkin when you do.
By the end of the month, you will have saved $403!
Either way, you will be making progress towards your savings goals!
