Okay, you have probably heard about the 52 week savings challenge.
It has garnered a lot of attention on social media over the last few years.

And it makes sense. It helps you get in the habit of saving money, and you can save over $1000 while doing it!
What’s not to love?
But what if you wanted to make the 52 week challenge a little more of a challenge?
What if you wanted to save even more money than the original challenge “allows”.
Well, that is what this challenge is for. This is the Double or Nothing 52 Week Challenge.
What is the double or nothing 52 week challenge?
Similar to the 52 week challenge, you will start saving small amounts of money and increase that amount every single week.
But, instead of saving $1 the first week, and increasing that saving amount by $1 each week, you double it
So, the first week you actually save $2. Then the next week you save $4. On week three you save $6.

You keep adding $2 to your savings each week.
By the end of the year, you are saving $100 or more each week!
That will add up to some serious savings!
And the best part… you will save $2756 by the end of the year/challenge!
How would it feel to have over $2700 in your bank account, ready to be used for whatever you need?
I can tell you from experience, that is feels amazing and can add so much peace to your life in this crazy world.
How to keep track of of the double or nothing 52 week saving plan?
I get it, trying to remember how much you need to save this week can feel overwhelming and add stress so the challenge.
That is NOT the goal. Saving money should feel fun and exciting not stressful.
So we created a savings tracker, specifically for this challenge.

Here is how it works.
Pick your start date. You can start a 52 week challenge anytime you want. If you missed it in January, start in February!
Then, save that first $2 in a designated savings account or saving envelope/jar/box. Wherever you plan to keep the money from this challenge, put it there.
Then, check off the first week on the tracker.

The next week, save $4 and set it aside. Then check off week 2 on the tracker.
Keep doing this process until the challenge is complete and you have $2756 saved!
This tracker is going to help you stay organized with this challenge so you know how much to save AND you can see how far you have already come.
And THAT will help you stay motivated along the way as well.
